Poseidon's Dramatic Story I don't like the way my brother, Zeus is able to over power me. He has been making the water rough for Odysseus on his way back home. I wanted the water calm so that Odysseus wouldn't adventure to my sons island of the Cyclopes. I have watched Odysseus on his way and i know what he is capable of and I don't want him hurting my son.
I see from my underwater palace that Odysseus has finally arrived at the Cyclopes Island. My son locked Odysseus in a cave. My son may be one of the smartest men i have ever met. I really admire my son and his hard work. I was happy when i figured out that Odysseus was stuck on the island. I had faith in my son of being able to help me ruin his journey. My son is just like me when it comes to having a skill to ruin people and starting things. So with the both of us combined that means we over rule him. It also meant that he can't finish his journey and he is forced to stay here and not go back to his family. But Odysseus got my son drunk off of wine. I will have to come up with ways to make his journey worse than it could be right now. Odysseus is not a man of his word. I know ill have to do just little things to make him suffer. Being away from his family this long was enough. As I sit here I think of different ways I can ruin Odysseus' journey. I can cause a storm and make it so they cant travel any longer. If its under my control Odysseus wont be going home anytime soon. I have the help of my brother, and I have more abilities then Odysseus will ever have. First I'll have to kill his men so he is all by himself and not know what to do. Then i'll have to wreck his ship so he is no longer able to travel. It will be easy for me but i"ll have to even out each thing, I'm going to do to him. Odysseus doesn't deserve to go home and I shouldn't let him. So it's my job to make him suffer and not go home to his family. Even though I sound mean, I'm only doing what I know is best.
